Request for Conference Funds Process

  1. Complete the form below at least one month prior to the conference you wish to attend.
  2. Make an appointment to meet with Frederic to discuss the conference, how it will benefit you, and what you think you can bring back to the Haverford community from the conference. At this meeting, we will discuss how you might share your knowledge with the community.
  3. A decision regarding granting of funds will be delivered within 72 hours after your appointment with Frederic.

Post-Conference Requirements

  1. Submit conference receipts to Deborah 24-48 hours following the conference.
  2. Submit a 1-2 page summary of your learnings from the conference to Deborah 24-48 hours upon your return to campus. This should include a summary of the workshops you attended, your reaction to the workshops, and how knowledge gained from this workshop applies to Haverford.
  3. Make a follow-up appointment with Frederic to discuss your learnings from the conference. We will also discuss format options (ie. Bi-Co article, letter, or commentary; oral presentation; panel discussion of issue(s) from the conference) for your presentation to the community, as well as ways we can include faculty in your post-conference analysis and presentation.
  4. Share your conference knowledge with the campus (ie. Bi-Co article, letter, or commentary; oral presentation; panel discussion of issue(s) from the conference).
