This page is a brief outline of the people in Haverford's
administration who play important roles in the services provided
to students with disabilities.
Located on the third floor of Founders Hall, Counseling and Psychological Services, (CAPS) and the Office of Disabilities Services (ODS), offer a wide range of services including free counseling for students. The Admission Office is located on the second floor of White Head Campus Center. It is not necessary to declare the existence of a disability during the admission process. However, should an applicant or potential student wish to do so, the information he or she provides will be held in confidence by the Admission Office. If the student is accepted and chooses to matriculate, the information will then be forwarded to the Coordinator of Disabilities Services. See Haverford's Disabilities Policy for more information or visit the Admission Office web site.

If urgent, a nurse can be reached after hours by calling Safety and Security at (610) 896-1111. First year students are assigned housing. Upperclass students acquire housing for the academic year through the weighted lottery system known as room draw. Some students with disabilities need special housing and are exempt from this process to guarantee that appropriate residential space can be secured for them. The Housing Office is located in Chase Hall.
