Mentoring
Every Chesick Scholar will work with a faculty member who will be their mentor for their entire undergraduate career. Scholars will begin working with their mentors at the end of the summer program to choose first-semester courses. The faculty mentor will meet with the student every two weeks, and work together to choose classes and decide on a major. Moreover, the mentor will help each Chesick Scholar connect with resources leading to summer research, study abroad and term-time research opportunities, and advise the Scholar on post-college plans.
