The Assistant Professor of Chemistry is being honored for his dual role as a “scholar-educator” with $505,424 to fund his research.
The two schools are launching a new program that will allow students to obtain their Bachelor of Science in four years at Haverford and their Master of Science in Engineering at Penn with just one additional year of study.
Assistant Professor of Chemistry Joshua Schrier used supercomputers at the Department of Energy’s National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center to help come up with a material that, in theory, could help efficiently separate carbon dioxide from fossil fuel emissions.
