Laboratory Technician opening

posted 10/28/09: Applicants are sought for the position of laboratory technician in biophysical chemistry.  The term of employment is up to two years, starting immediately.  The laboratory of Prof. Casey Londergan at Haverford College seeks to develop novel spectroscopic methods for characterization of site-specific structure and dynamics in proteins with large conformational distributions.  The successful applicant should have demonstrated laboratory acumen in biochemistry and/or molecular biology; training in specialized spectroscopic techniques can be provided as part of the job.  Dr. Londergan’s laboratory is currently funded by grants from NIH, the Dreyfus Foundation, and Research Corporation  The Haverford College chemistry department has excellent instrumental resources, and close cooperation with the Biology department also provides access to their state-of-the-art facilities.  To apply please send a letter of application, CV, and contact information for three references to: KINSC@haverford.edu.
