I was a student here at Haverford and in 2013 returned to the Chemistry Department as a faculty member. In the interim decade, I obtained my Ph.D. from Duke University while investigating endogenous and exogenous chelators used to mitigate metal-promoted oxidative stress and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University where I studied the mechanisms of polyketide biosynthesis. At Haverford, I enjoy teaching and researching at the interface of chemistry and biology.
