Plotting Graphs |

To see plots of the unrefined data, simply check the box next to either "Plot T" (Transmission), "Plot F" (Fluorescence) or "Plot C" (Calibration). You will receive a prompt that says "LX suspects the data you recently read in is Mn edge..". Click OK. If there is no fluorescence or calibration data, or if the fluorescence or calibration detectors are not properly defined in the popup menus, Plot F or Plot C will give an error. |

The function on the Y axis while plotting the graphs is given at the center of the Panel. The choices available are negative natural logarithm (-ln), first derivative (f'), first derivative of negative natural logarithm (f'(-ln) or no alteration of the quantity (…). |

Some graphing functions · Zooming in and out: make a selection by clicking and dragging over an area of the graph. · After making the selection, right click and select from any of the "expand" functions for zooming in · and the "shrink" functions for zooming out. Ctrl-A (Mac: Cmd-A) gets you back to the original ·
autoscale
of the graph. · Graph and line options: right-click (Mac: Cmd-click) anywhere on the empty area of the ·
graph
to open a menu that gives you the options of changing the appearance of the
plot. ·
Double click on the axes or
the trace to change its appearance. Click on the right arrow for the steps involved in removal of errors from the data. |
