Other Glitches
After removing all these errors, the curve might still not be smooth. To remove the glitches that still remain, use the "de-glitch data" tool. After clicking on the "de-glitch data" button on the LX Panel, select the "show cursors" option from the dialogue box and press continue. The cursors are now visible at the lower part of the LX Panel. Click and drag the "A" cursor to the glitch. Then click "de-glitch data" again. Now select the "Deglitch over E-corr range specified below" option from the dialogue box. The upper and lower limits for de-glitching of the selected point are shown. After hitting Continue, observe that the glitches in the curve are smoothed.

To account for the fall in the µo value as higher energy X-rays are used, the "XAS/(mu falloff)" box should be checked. Do not check the "corr. F" and "corr T." boxes unless you enter the information about sample and detector geometry requested when you click on the “Self-Abs/Det. Eff.”
Click on the "Update Graph after changing Det. or
File" button to make sure all the changes are included in the final plot
of the LX Panel.
