Recruiting Program

Did you know there is a program that brings employers and graduate/professional schools to campus? These organizations will be interested in meeting with you to discuss post-graduate opportunities. Some will also have summer opportunities. Still other employers will come to campus to conduct interviews. Read below to learn more about these exciting opportunities.

In order to participate in the Recruiting Program, you must complete and Online Recruiting Tutorial.

Freshman/Sophomores

Be on the lookout for various organizations traveling to BMC or HC to conduct presentations, often called "Information Sessions". Even though many will be about full-time jobs or graduate school, you are welcome to attend any of these events. There will be some organizations doing presentations about summer opportunities as well. Information Sessions provide an excellent way for you to learn about various career paths and potential graduate school programs. To view information about these organizations and see an online calendar listing dates and locations of visits, please visit OCEAN. Also, by completing your profile in OCEAN, the CDO will send you email announcements about programs related to your interests.

Juniors

We encourage Juniors to become involved with the Recruiting Program in the following ways:

Seniors

As you begin your senior year, your attention will likely be turned toward your path after graduation. The Recruiting Program is a good starting place for exploring opportunities, whether it be graduate school or employment. Through this program, we bring some graduate/professional schools and many employers representing both the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas to campus to meet with you. To view all events, please visit OCEAN. We also encourage you to complete/update your "Profile" section in OCEAN to allow us to send emails to you about events related to your interests. Finally, be on the lookout for the CDO Compass e-newsletter. Sent to you every other week, this will feature important announcements, events, and upcoming deadlines through the Recruiting Program.
