1.CAREER DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR SENIORS

* CAREER DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (CDO)
The CDO has all the tools you need for planning your future beyond graduation. The CDO is located in two convenient locations – at BMC in the Campus Center,202, and at HC in Stokes 300. The CDO staff are here to assist as you develop your plans for after graduation - whether it is grad school or a full time job. This is a great time to get your resume ready for the busy recruiting season ahead and the CDO highly recommends that you have your resume reviewed before applying. Be sure to check our online recruiting system called OCEAN, it has a calendar for up-to-date information on CDO happenings. Don't worry if your career goals are not fine-tuned yet; we are here to help you wherever you are in your career search. We look forward to working with you!

REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION IN RECRUITING PROGRAM
Recruiting Orientation provides seniors with the foundation for a successful experience in the recruiting program. The fundamentals of a job search are discussed, and training provided for use of CDO's "OCEAN" (Online Career Exploration And Networking) web based system. While all seniors may "Browse" OCEAN, training is REQUIRED to use the system to submit applications, and eventually, schedule interviews.

ALL SENIORS wishing to participate in the Recruiting Program, including On Campus Interviews, Resume Referrals, and the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium events such as Coast-To-Coast Virtual Fair and the Science Resume Book, are required to complete one during their senior year.

If you have not yet completed one this year, you should complete orientation at http://www.haverford.edu/cdo/students/orientation.html . **Please note that you will be activated within 48 hours after completing. **

Sign up on the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE) website for site visits to employers around the country.
Visits take place between Jan. 3-13.
Deadline: by Dec. 2, 2011 (slots fill quickly).

In order to apply you must complete an Online Recruiting Tutorial at least 2 business days before the deadline and during the current academic year.
All applications are due on OCEAN at by 11:59pm on deadline date.
Everything requires a resume.
