1. WELCOME BACK SENIORS!
The Career Development Office (CDO) is located at BMC in the Campus Center,
2nd Floor, and at HC in Stokes 300. We are here to assist you as
you develop your plans for after graduation, whether it be grad school or a
full time job. Be sure to check the OCEAN calendar for up to date
information on CDO happenings. We look forward to working with you this year!
2. SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR SENIORS
Senior Start-Up
Overview of CDO services for seniors and OCEAN - (Online Career Exploration
and Networking) web based system. Includes Recruiting Orientation
REQUIRED to use the OCEAN system to submit applications, and eventually, schedule interviews.

Recruiting Orientation (required for participation in recruiting program)
Recruiting Orientation provides seniors with the foundation for a successful experience in the recruiting program. The fundamentals of a job search are discussed, and training provided for use of CDO's "OCEAN" (Online Career Exploration And Networking) web based system. While all seniors may "Browse" OCEAN, training is REQUIRED to use the system to submit applications, and eventually, schedule interviews.
ALL SENIORS wishing to participate in the Recruiting Program, including On Campus Interviews, Resume Referrals, City-Based Recruiting Days, and the Coast To Coast Virtual Fair in the Spring Semester, are required to complete one during their senior year.
If you cannot attend one of the Senior Orientaitons, you should complete the orientation at www.haverford.edu/cdo/students/orientation.html .
Please note that you will be activated within 48 hours after completing.

Finance/Consulting Resume Book
Requirements: Internship/experience in finance or consulting, Minimum GPA of 3.4, SAT/ or ACT scores on resume, relevant course work, and leadership experience. Students should have their resume reviewed by CDO before apply.
Deadline: Sunday, Sept. 16.
First Look: Early Resume Referral deadline for business/finance jobs. Deadline 9/25/07.
Participating organizations include Bain and Co. and Harris Williams & Co.
