David Bushnell
Psy.D., Immaculata College, Psychological Counselor
Prior to assuming his staff position at CAPS, David was an intern at CAPS (1989-92 and 1999-00) and at the Psychological Services Center at Swarthmore College (1998-99). An additional internship at the Renfrew Center (Philadelphia) provided him with experience working with people with eating disorders. For the first half of his professional life David was an artist, a painter. He earned his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College and also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to his doctorate in clinical psychology, David graduated from the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis and is certified as a psychoanalyst by the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis. David's professional activities include a private practice.
