On Friday, October 2nd at 8 PM, the Guest Artist Series presents LYRIC FEST performing "Four Hands - Warm Hearts" in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium. Tickets are $15 (Gen), $12 (Sr), $8 (Students), $5 (7-17) and free to the bi-college community.

On Friday, October 2nd at 8 PM, the Guest Artist Series presents LYRIC FEST in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium. "Four Hands - Warm Hearts" features love songs for a crowd ... an ensemble of solo voices, four hands on the piano, and an effervescent program that bubbles along from champagne to six pack! Hear Brahms' complete Liebeslieder Waltzes and the many surprising works they inspired: Lowell Liebermann's Appalachian Liebeslieder (settings of the prose by Laren Stover), John Greer's Liebesleid-lieder (poems of Dorothy Parker), Bernstein's Arias and Barcarolles, and Corigliano's Liebeslied. With Suzanne DuPlantis, Randi Marrazzo, guest artists Thomas Lloyd, Randall Scarlata, and Elizabeth Weigle, and pianists Harold Evans and Laura Ward. Haverford students joining these professionals are Jacqueline Freund ’10, soprano, Catherine Comey ’12, mezzo soprano, Kevin D'Aquilla ’12, tenor, and Conor Weiss ’10, bass. Tickets are $15 (Gen); $12 (Sr); $8 (Students), $5 (7-17) and free to the bi-college community.
