The CPGC is hosting a forum in support of faculty interested in developing a Middle East studies curriculum at Haverford College. Join us on Thursday evening, October 29 for a panel discussion on Middle East studies open to the entire Haverford community featuring several experts in the field: Jamal J. Elias, Professor of Religious Studies, Univ. of Pennsylvania; Roxanne Euben, Professor and Chair, Department of Political Science, Wellesley College; Steven Riskin, Senior Program Officer, US Institute of Peace; and Mary Christina Wilson, Professor of History, University of Massachusetts. The second day will consist of a working session with the guest experts and selected members of the Haverford faculty focused on specific steps necessary to develop a Middle East studies curriculum.
