Haverford College will host a round table discussion, "Digital Archivalism and the Future of the Humanities," on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 4 - 6 p.m. in Chase Auditorium, Chase Hall, Haverford College.
Speakers include Caroline Levander, Professor of English and Director of the Humanities Research Center at Rice University, Laura Mandell, Professor of English at Miami University of Ohio, and Associate Director of the Networked Infrastructure for Nineteenth-Century Electronic Scholarship (NINES), and Jeffrey Schnapp, Professor of Comparative Literature and Director of the Stanford Humanities Lab.
The program is free and open to the public. It is funded by the Mellon Foundation, the Haverford and Bryn Mawr English Departments, and the Hurford Humanities Center at Haverford.
A reception will follow the discussion at 6 p.m.
