On Saturday, March 21st at 8 pm, the Guest Artist Series presents Ben Pasternak, piano, with Joseph Horowitz, commentator, performing "MUSIC OF THE AMERICAN INDIANISTS: Music of Dvorak, Farwell, Busoni, and others" in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium.
Description
On Saturday, March 21st at 8 pm, the Guest Artist Series presents Ben Pasternak, piano, with Joseph Horowitz, commentator, performing "MUSIC OF THE AMERICAN INDIANISTS: Music of Dvorak, Farwell, Busoni, and others." The concert will be held in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium. Tickets are $15 (Gen), $12 (Sr), $8 (Students), and $5 (7-17). The concert is free to the bi-college community.
One of the most experienced and versatile musicians of our time, the American pianist Benjamin Pasternack has performed as soloist, recitalist and chamber musician on four continents.
Joseph Horowitz is an artistic consultant, teacher, and author. He is one of the most prominent and widely published writers on topics in American music. As an orchestral administrator and advisor, he has been a pioneering force in the development of thematic programming and new concert formats.
