Framing Photographs: Contexts & Transpositions
Description
Members of the 2007-08 Faculty Seminar, Photography, Modernism, and Post-Modernism, have selected images from Special Collections in Magill Library, along with an eclectic mix of supplemental materials. This exhibit demonstrates how changing frames and transposing contexts affect the meaning of images and also how images resist efforts to determine this meaning once and for all.
Opening reception in Magill Library on March 21 from 4-6 p.m.
