Description
On Tuesday, March 18th at 4:15 pm, the Department of Music's Music and Conversation series will present The Aurelio Ensemble who will offer a program of Classical instrumental and vocal chamber music on period instruments. Their program will include Beethoven's monumental early work, the Sonata in G minor Op. 5 No. 2 for piano and cello, as well as Mozart's delightful Trio in B-flat, K502. The program will also feature songs by Haydn as well as Schubert Lieder sung incomparably by Laurie Heimes. Matt Bengtson will play fortepiano along with Fran Berge, violin and Rebecca Humphrey, cello. The concert will take place in Roberts Hall on the stage of Marshall Auditorium, and is is free and open to the public.
