CPGC Deadline: Student FundingCPGC Deadline: Student Fundinghttp://www.haverford.edu/calendar/details/2614052014-09-142014-09-14
On-Campus Events Fund, Off-Campus Conferences & Workshops Fund, Student Research Fund (Fall Break projects) & Service Learning Fund (Fall Break projects)
DEADLINE FOR ALL FALL BREAK PROJECTS
The Campus Events Fund supports individuals, partnerships or groups of students to design organize and implement on-campus events. These events range from academic speakers to community activists, from panel discussions to multi-day symposia, and from community forums to training workshops.
The Off-Campus Conferences and Workshops Fund supports individuals and groups of students to travel domestically or internationally to attend a conference, workshops, or training that engages in issues advancing peace and social action.
The Service Learning Fund supports students pursuing community-based projects with strong educational components. These projects are usually connected to a course or other academic endeavor, and provide a benefit to the host community. CPGC will fund group projects; however, each student must apply individually.
The Student Research Fund supports domestic and international student research throughout the academic year, including fall, winter, and spring break. Strong preference is given to projects relating to one's senior thesis research and/or major. All applicants should consult with a faculty member who can speak to the project and its merit. Please note that we prefer to fund longer research stays or on-going research rather than shorter or one-time visits; decisions are made based on a relative cost-benefit analysis.
All applications are available through our on-line application system: http://cpgc-apply.haverford.edu/
