A reading by poet Thomas Devaney, and short talk by Devaney and photographer Will Brown

Poet and Visiting Assistant Professor Thomas Devaney will read from his new book The Picture that Remains (The Print Center, 2014). The collection is a collaboration between Devaney and the photographer Will Brown. Slides of Brown's street photographs from the early 1970s will be shown, and Brown will make opening remarks about the project and his work.
Devaney is the author of A Series of Small Boxes (2007), The American Pragmatist Fell in Love (1999), and the nonfiction book Letters to Ernesto Neto (2005).
Brown's works are held in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library of Yale University, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
