The Tri-College 24-Hour Comix Challenge
With Mellon Creative Resident Pato Hebert
Help us use language and line to alter space!
Artist and scholar Pato Hebert will help participants to design their own comic creations as part of the World Wide 24-Hour Comics Day Challenge. You don’t have to have experience, or know how to draw. You just have to come with an open mind, a creative spirit and a bit of stamina.
Together we’ll think about architecture, language, labor, migration and life transitions. After our 24 hours of comics, food, comics, music, comics, conversation, comics and fun, we’ll have made our own original … COMICS!
In December these comics will reappear as an installation on the windows of Ryan Gym. The building will become a book, your work a kind of play!
