Join us for a family oriented event with telescope observing (weather permitting) and other astronomical activities appropriate for the whole family (even if we get snow!).
Description
Saturday, February 9 - 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm there will be an evening of astronomy for the community in Strawbridge Observatory at Haverford College. There will be several hands-on activities appropriate for the young and young at heart, including liquid nitrogen comet ice cream, moon phase and cratering demos, and space-themed crafts. Conditions permitting, there will be observing through the telescope around 6:30 pm. This event is free and will be held rain or shine. No RSVP needed.
