The question of Who killed Sarah Stout? continues to generate much speculation. Some judgments have been made, but the jury is still out. Come hear a panel of experts discuss notions of judgment in the 17th century:
How did the culture surrounding orality and print mediate public opinion? What counted as evidence? Who decided? You just might change your verdict.
