Contemporary music for flute and piano written by Italian and American composers.
Description
This concert features new music for flute and piano, written by Italian and American composers. Several of the composers will be present to introduce their works including Ingrid Arauco, Daniel Dorff, Orlando Jacinto Garcia, Charles Cacioppo, and Curt Cacioppo, and will give brief introductions to their respective pieces. They will also be on hand afterward to converse with audience members. Additionally, music by Amy Williams, Roberta Silvestrini, Ada Gentile, Lucio Gregoretti and Marino Baratello will be performed.
