The Faculty Writing Accountability Group meets weekly with the specific aim of submitting an article for publication by the end of the Fall semester, Dec. 21. This group provides a committed group of people to answer to.
Description
The Faculty Writing Accountability Group meets weekly with the specific aim of submitting an article for publication by the end of the Fall semester, Dec. 21. This group provides a committed group of people to answer to. We will discuss progress on writing goals and problems or successes with meeting those goals and then establishing new goals for the following week. Thanks to the support of the Provost’s Office, we will have refreshments at the meetings, and we will receive copies of Writing Your Journal Article in 12 Weeks: A Guide to Academic Publishing Success by Wendy Laura Belcher. In addition to providing accountability and support for the often challenging process of writing, this group will allow us to share our research interests with our colleagues in a casual setting and engage in interdisciplinary discourse.
There will be snacks, coffee, and more!
