A 3-part workshop designed to teach students how to use media programs to create short personal narratives. Using FinalCut Pro film editing software and voice recording software, students will narrate moments of transformation from their summer projects.
In the first workshop, students will work with Philadelphia artist Jamie Schilling to craft a compelling personal narrative. The second session will focus on learning the "hard skills" of audio/visual production, and the final session will focus on editing and pushing towards a "final cut." Corey Chao in the IITS department will be available for extra assistance in the digital media lab. All participants will leave with a digital story to share with friends, family and future employers.
Dates: Sunday, 9/9 1pm-5pm (CPGC Cafe, Stokes 104)
Thursday, 9/13 6pm-10pm (IITS, Stokes 204)
