Description
On Sunday, March 24 at 3 PM, the Guest Artist Series presents the renown pianist, Peter Serkin, performing an all-Beethoven program including the 11 Bagatelles, Op 119, Sonata in A flat Major, Op. 110, 6 Bagatelles, Op. 126, and Sonata in E flat Major, Op. 81a "Les Adieux". This concert will be held in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium. Ticket prices are $15 (Gen), $12 (Sr), $8 (Stu), $5 (7-17).
Recognized as an artist of passion and integrity, the distinguished American pianist Peter Serkin is one of the most thoughtful and individualistic musicians appearing before the public today. Throughout his career he has successfully conveyed the essence of five centuries of repertoire and his performances with symphony orchestras, recital appearances, chamber music collaborations and recordings are respected worldwide. His performance at Haverford College will be his only Philadelphia area performance.
