On Sunday, March 3 at 3 PM, the Guest Artist Series presents Steven Mayer, piano, performing "Liszt and the American Liszts" (Louis Moreau Gottschalk and Art Tatum). This concert will be held in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium. Ticket prices are $15 (Gen), $12 (Sr), $8 (Stu), $5 (7-17).
Of Steven Mayer's recreations of America's greatest piano repertoire, John Rockwell of The New York Times has written: "Composition or improvisation, classical or jazz, white or black—all categories crumble in the face of accomplishment.
