"The Original Teachings of the Buddha"

Description
Glenn Wallis holds a Ph.D. in Buddhist studies from Harvard University's Department of Sanskrit and Indian Studies. He will speak on his book "The Original Teachings of the Buddha," emphasizing how these teachings are still relevant and useful today as modern life fills our minds with stress and anxiety. An open discussion will follow the talk, and a short meditation session will be optional.
About the "Manage Your Mind" Events:
Through a series of lectures and workshops, we will offer a variety of perspectives on mindfulness meditation, emphasizing its essential role in stress-management and emotional wellbeing, as well as examining it in the context of neuroscience, disease treatment, and ancient contemplative traditions.
