Work-in-Progress Salon @ Bryn Mawr's Pem Studio for the Headlong Performance Institute (HPI)
FRIDAY 10/28 @ 6:30PM
**HPI is a semester-away program accredited by Bryn Mawr and draws students from colleges and universities across the country. If you're interested in Dance or Theater or ways to combine the two, you should come and check this out.
HPI is an intensive semester in performing and creating performances taught by working artists, including directors of Headlong Dance Theater and Pig Iron Theater Company. Students include both current students and recent college graduates. Part of the curriculum involves the development of life skills to build a successful career as an artist.
On Fridays, the twelve students gather with their seven faculty mentors to see revised classwork, new pieces, and other work-in-progress for review and discussion. This salon provides an opportunity for people interested in the work of new artists to see what's new in the field, and a chance for these artists to share their work.
Anyone interested in more info regarding HPI can email firstname.lastname@example.org and/or check outhttp://www.headlongperformanceinstitute.org.
