Sashi Selvendran, Senior Consultant, Mennonite Economic Development Associates

Description
Sashi Selvendran has worked over 10 years in the areas of microfinance, credit guarantees, risk analysis, training, and project management. At MEDA, Mennonite Economic Development Associates, Sashi is responsible for managing grants and providing technical assistance to MFIs, particularly in the process of transforming organizational structure. She specializes in efforts to introduce appropriate savings products.
Prior to MEDA, Sashi worked at USAID, the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), and Grameen Foundation. As a consultant for the ADB, Sashi conducted due diligence of prospective partner banks in Central Asia and Asia. She obtained her MSc. in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and her BA in International Development from Vanderbilt University.
