Prof. Anita Isaacs and the Center for Peace & Global Citizenship invite members of the Haverford community to a joint conversation on nonviolent resistance with Joe Volk and Jorge Morales on Tuesday, March 29, at 3:30P in the CPGC Cafe (Stokes 104). Friend-in-Residence Joe Volk recently retired as executive secretary of the Friends Committee on National Legislation, the Quaker lobby on Capitol Hill. Jorge Morales is an indigenous-rights activist with the National Coordination of Guatemalan Widows (CONAVIGUA) in Guatemala and served as the inaugural Global Leader for Peace in 2010.
