The Team — A feature documentary chronicling the journey of a group of homeless New Yorkers who represent the US in the first international homeless soccer cup in Austria. Q&A with filmmaker Basia Winograd.

Description
About the Filmmaker: Trained at the Polish National Film School in Lodz and Columbia University, Basia Winograd started her film career in Chennai, India in 1997. Basia’s video art and short films have been exhibited around the world. She has shot and edited for Oscar and Emmy winning documentarians and first-time filmmakers alike, and produced video work for clients in major commercial and non-profit sectors, including Nike, IBM and Greenpeace. Her feature documentary, The Team, to be screened at Haverford, was part of the BBC’s Storyville series in 2006.
