Description
Fifth Form is a dark comedy about a prank war that tears apart a boys' dorm at an elite prep school along ethnic lines. Set during the run up to the First Gulf War, a new Jewish student, Josh Schuster, must decide if he will be a peacemaker or a catalyst for escalating the conflict. After the screening, there will be a chance to discuss the film and the production process with the co-writer, Bill Stern '96, and writer-director Adam Orman '96.
Fifth Form has screened at 9 festivals since its completion in February '09 and has won two best film awards. For trailer and more info: www.fifthform.com
Adam Orman '96 (co-writer and director) received a Masters in Film Production from Columbia University in 2001. While in attendance there, he completed two short films, like and World Premiere Video. like screened at Columbia’s New Directors festival and the Texas Film Festival, winning audience awards at both.
Bill Stern '96 has co-written a number of screenplays and a number of children's books. That number is two. He currently lives in Philadelphia with his fiancee and one cat.
