Join us for a celebration of black culture, history, and contribution. A Bi-College collaboration, Black History Month Convocation will include performances by Jasmine Pope '13 and Darren White '11, as well as Simone Crew '13, Lily Mengesha BMC '10, and Allegra Fletcher BMC '12.
The convocation also will include a keynote address by Dr. Lina Buffington, faculty member and adminstrator at LaSalle University. Dr. Buffington is a philosopher and Mellon Scholar and has served as Director of College Student Recruitment for Philadelphia Futures.
This is promises to be an important and uplifting event for the whole community.
Refreshments will be served after the lecture.
