The Department of Sociology, in conjunction with the Distinguished Visitors Program, presents a talk by Jeffrey Alexander, Lillian Chavenson Saden Professor of Sociology at Yale University, entitled “Civil and Military Heroes: Victory and Defeat in the Election of 2008." Tea will be served at 4:15 P.M.
A work-in-progress session with Jeffrey Alexander will be held on Wednesday, 2/17, from 9 to 11 A.M., in Room 205A, Whitehead Campus Center. Breakfast will be served.
