Description
Mark Doty is a critically-acclaimed, award winning author. In his 1997 memoir, Heaven’s Coast, Doty chronicles the story of his partner’s illness and, ultimately, death at the hands of AIDS. Heaven’s Coast is a beautiful, if painful, literary feat.
Doty also is the author of Dog Years, Firebird: A Memoir, and Still Life with Oysters and Lemon in addition to many works of poetry including, Atlantis, My Alexandria, and Fire to Fire.
A lecture and reading will preceed the reception and book signing.
