Consciousness, Connectivity and Integral Models of Reality: A Deep-dialogue on Science and Philosophy in Quest of the Unified Field of Reality

Description
TOPIC: MAKING SENSE OF OUR GREAT EVOLUTIONARY SHIFT
Featuring our two invited distinguished keynote presenters-
Joan Borysenko and Gregg Braden
It has become increasingly evident in recent decades, especially upon entering the 21st Century, that humanity is facing unprecedented crises on a planetary scale as we shift into a global age. And there appears to be a heightened awareness that the human family is in the midst of a long-emerging evolutionary shift as we awaken and mature as a species. There are of course quite diverse understandings of the depth, nature and magnitude of this “shift” and how it addresses the crises that now threaten our sustainability and even our survival on earth. Many initiatives have emerged across the globe to make sense of our evolutionary shift, and one of them is the gathering of “Evolutionary Leaders” who have issued a “Call to Conscious Evolution”. Our three speakers are among the founding members of this initiative and you may get a more direct sense of these voices from the following site:

In any case there is a growing sense that humanity over millennia has been in an ongoing evolutionary maturation and our collective global wisdom suggests that we have arrived at a most exciting tipping point or great shift in our human drama which has brought us to the threshold of an awakening to our conscious, intentional or mindful role in our evolutionary future, an unprecedented crossing into conscious evolution and facing our moment of choice.
Joan Borysenko and Gregg Braden are two eminent voices, both New York Times best selling authors, who will help us in “Making Sense of our Great Evolutionary Shift”.
Joan Borysenko, Ph.D.
This distinguished pioneer in integrative medicine is a world-renowned expert in the mind/body connection. Her work has been foundational in an international health-care revolution that recognizes the role of meaning, and the spiritual dimensions of life, as an integral part of health and healing. Eloquent and inspiring in settings that range from hospitals to hospices, from theaters to conference venues, and from boardrooms to houses of worship, she is a credible bridge between faith and reason. After graduating magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in l967, Dr. Borysenko earned her doctorate in Medical Sciences from the Harvard Medical School, where she completed post-doctoral training in cancer cell biology. In the early 1980’s Dr. Borysenko co-founded a Mind/Body clinic with Dr. Benson (who first identified the relaxation response and brought meditation into medicine) and became licensed as a psychologist, and was appointed instructor in medicine at the Harvard Medical School. Her years of clinical experience and research culminated in the 1987 publication of the New York Times best seller, Minding the Body, Mending the Mind. Author or co-author of 13 other books and numerous audio and video programs, she is the Founding Partner of Mind/Body Health Sciences, located in Boulder, Colorado, and the Director of The Claritas Institute Interspiritual Mentor Training Program.
Gregg Braden
New York Times best selling author Gregg Braden is internationally renowned as a pioneer in bridging science and spirituality. Following a successful career as a Computer Geologist for Phillips Petroleum during the 1970s energy crisis, he became a Senior Computer Systems Designer for Martin Marietta Defense Systems during the last year of the Cold War. In 1991 he was appointed the first Technical Operations Manager for Cisco Systems where he led the development of the global support team that assures the reliability of today’s Internet. For more than 22 years, Gregg has searched high mountain villages, remote monasteries, and forgotten texts to uncover their timeless secrets. To date, his work has led to such paradigm-shattering books as The Isaiah Effect, The God Code, The Divine Matrix and his 2008 release, The Spontaneous Healing of Belief: Shattering the Paradigm of False Limits. And his newest, Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age, debuted at #5 on the New York Times best seller list 2 weeks after its release. Gregg’s work is now published in 17 languages and 27 countries and shows us beyond any reasonable doubt that the key to our future lies in the wisdom of our past.
