Description
"Q & A: What's Bugging You in the Garden?"
Unstumpable Scott Aker of the US National Arboretum will attempt to answer all your gardening conundrums in this open-mike session. What is causing the death of red oaks in our region? What is a good pest resistant shrub for late summer color in the garden? Drawing on his background as gardens unit leader and previously horticulturist in charge of the Integrated Pest Management Program at the National Arboretum, Scott will take questions for the audience on a range of gardening topics. Reception to follow in the Rotunda. Co-sponsored by the Haverford College Arboretum, the Hardy Plant Society, Mid-Atlantic Chapter and the Henry Foundation.
