Public Talk by John E. Drabinski
John Drabinski, Assistant Professor of Black Studies at Amherst College, author of Sensibility and Singularity: The Problem of Phenomenology in Levinas (SUNY 2001) and Godard Between Identity and Difference (Continuum 2008), will give a talk titled "Levinas, Borders and Justice," to inaugurate the 9th meeting of the Levinas Research Seminar, April 16-18, on the Haverford Campus.
Students from JIll Stauffer's Levinas/ethics seminar (as well as local faculty) will be invited to join the group of scholars in discussion and meals over the weekend. This event is sponsored by the Hurford Humanities Center and the Gest Center.
