WESTMINSTER, MD - Head coach Amy Bergin's Haverford College volleyball team found themselves down two games to none early, however, the Fords rallied to win the next three games en route to a 3-2 (20-30, 29-31, 30-28, 30-19, 15-8) victory over Centennial Conference opponent McDaniel. The Fords (20-4 overall, 6-2 Centennial) have won 20 matches for the first time since 2002 when that squad recorded 22 victories.

Haverford was led by freshman middle hitter Rachel Salvo, who registered a triple-double with 12 kills, 12 assists digs along with ten digs. Junior outside hitter Laura Nuyen tallied 14 kills and 11 digs, while freshman outside hitter Rebecca Salvo collected 26 kills and 15 digs.. Junior setter Emily Hinchcliff saw her first action since being injured in the Johns Hopkins match, and dished out 42 assists in Saturday afternoon's victory. She is already only 41 wins away from having the most coaching victories in Haverford volleyball program history.

However, before the Fords take on the Red Devils, they will host and do battle with Centennial foe Swarthmore on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
