Regionally Ranked NYU Tops Haverford, 9-0
FLUSHING, NY - The Haverford College
women's tennis team fell to New York University, ranked 14th in
the New England region, 9-0 Sunday afternoon in front of a dedicated
group of Haverford fans at the Billie Jean King National Tennis
Center. Haverford fell in straight sets to NYU in each singles
match and fell short in each of the three doubles matches. Haverford
falls to 2-6 overall on the season while NYU improved to 7-4.
The Fords will host Centennial opponent Washington College on
Tuesday afternoon.
