Centennial names Carpenter men's Runner of the Week

09/29/09 – Haverford's Joe Carpenter earned the weekly conference honor following his performance at the Main Line Invite last Thursday.
LANCASTER, Pa. – The Centennial Conference office released its Runner of the Week award Tuesday with Haverford College's Joe Carpenter earning the men's honor.
Carpenter was the team's leading finisher in eighth place at the Main Line Invitational, hosted by Haverford, last Thursday trailing only runners from Division I Villanova. His time of 20 minutes, 16.82 seconds was just 26 seconds behind the first place finisher.
Laura Paulsen of Johns Hopkins was selected as the league's Women's Runner of the Week.
