Fords earn College Squash academic honors

09/08/09 – The College Squash Association released their 2008-09 men's and women's Scholar Athlete lists with seven Fords earning national distinction.
HAVERFORD, Pa. – Seven Haverford College squash players were named College Squash Association Scholar Athletes for the 2008-2009 season as announced by the organization on their Web site.
Adil Khan, Jeff Monhait, Jake Ralston and Even Stiegel were four of 54 men named CSA Scholar Athletes. Haverford's four honorees tied with Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, Vassar and Williams for the most from any one institution.
On the women's CSA Scholar Athlete listing, the Fords' Elle de Moll, Jenny Millman and Sara Powell were honored with selection to the list of 42. Haverford tied with Brown, Columbia and Smith for the second-most number of players on the women's list behind only four each from Penn and Vassar.
To be eligible for selection, players must be of junior or senior standing and been awarded at least two varsity letters, carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.50, and must have played in 75 percent or more of the team's scheduled matches.
