STERLING, Va. – Brittany Lattisaw of the Haverford College women’s basketball team was named First-Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region by D3hoops.com. The team was voted on by the Sports Information Directors in the region.
Lattisaw is the first Haverford player to receive this honor. Six players from the Centennial Conference made one of the three teams, but Lattisaw and Swarthmore’s Kathryn Stockbower were the only first-team selections.
The senior led the Fords and was fourth in the conference in scoring at 16.2 points per game and was third in rebounding (9.5) and blocked shots per game (1.73). She recorded nine double-doubles this season and averaged double digits in points and rebounds for most of the season.
Lattisaw ended her career as the program’s all-time leader in blocked shots (160) and blocked shots per game (1.9). She became only the third Haverford women’s basketball player to score 1,000 career points, accomplishing the feat on Feb. 12. She finished with 1,039 for her four-year career.
