Sean Sloane joined Haverford College in 1997 as head men's tennis and men's and women's squash coach with many distinguished accomplishments already to his credit. Head coach of Williams College for both tennis and squash for the better part of 16 years, Sloane took time out only to earn his doctorate in sports administration from the University of Massachusetts.
A nationally ranked competitor in hardball squash, he has made a smooth transition to the softball game and his teams have earned accolades for their spirit and sportsmanship. At the conclusion of the 2004-2005 season the College Squash Association coaches re-named the CSA Team Sportsmanship Award in his honor.
