Sophomore Ashley Hoath dribbled from left to right across the top of the box, turned and struck the decisive goal with 4:10 remaining in the game to give Lynchburg its fifth Haverford Kickoff title. Haverford Bests Arcadia, 2-0, in Kickoff Tournament Semifinal
Sophomore Molly Graepel tapped, then chased in a deflected cross by senior Hana Rosen in the 18th minute, and Rachael Pardini added an insurance goal with a long blast in the 77th minute as tournament host Fords (1-0) advanced to Sunday's final of the Haverford Kickoff Tournament with a 2-0 win over Arcadia Saturday afternoon. Haverford Women's Soccer Season Outlook
Two years removed from reaching the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, first-year head coach Jamie Gluck is hopeful that the Haverford women's soccer team will make a national impact once again in 2007. The team will look to rebound from a 2006 season hampered by injuries, coupled with the loss of seven seniors from 2005.
