Jamie Gluck

Haverford College is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Gluck as the new women's soccer coach. Gluck will take over as head coach of the program on July 1, when former coach Wendy Smith moves into the role of Director of Athletics at Haverford.

"We are very excited to have Jamie Gluck joining Haverford' coaching staff," says Acting Athletic Director Wendy Smith. "Jamie's experience playing and coaching in the Centennial Conference gives her a unique understanding of what it will take to compete successfully in our Conference. In addition to her experience coaching and recruiting, Jamie's enthusiasm for providing our women's soccer players with a positive and competitive experience indicates a bright future for the Women's Soccer Program."

Gluck joins Haverford after serving as an assistant coach at Washington & Lee University. In 2006, Gluck helped lead the Generals to an NCAA 'elite-eight' appearance, a 19-1-3 overall record, and a season ending ranking of tenth in Division III.

A 2003 graduate of Muhlenberg College, Gluck was a four-year letter winner for the Mules, playing on the 2000 and 2001 Centennial Conference Championship teams. Gluck then went on to receive her master of science in sport management from East Stroudsburg University, where she also served as the women's soccer graduate assistant. After receiving her master's degree, Gluck spent two seasons at Washington College as the assistant soccer coach and administrative assistant to the athletic department.
