BETHLEHEM, PA - Visiting Haverford College
(4-5-1 overall) had its three game winning streak snapped on Wednesday
afternoon, falling to non-conference opponent Moravian (4-5),
2-0.
Moravian tallied its first goal in the 22nd
minute, and followed with an insurance goal in the 75th minute
en route to the 2-0 decision. Haverford goalkeeper Lindsay Festa's
shut out streak ended at 344:41. Her 344:41 of shut out soccer
bested her own personal record of 322:58 of play in net without
giving up a goal, which occurred over a span of the Fords first
five games last season.
Haverford will return to action on Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. game
at Centennial Conference opponent McDaniel. Game
