LANCASTER, PA – Visiting Haverford College played strong,
but was defeated by host Franklin & Marshall, 2-0, Friday
afternoon in Centennial Conference men's soccer action.
After a scoreless first half, Diplomats junior midfielder Chris
Campbell broke the tie in the 53rd minute with a goal booted a
pass from teammate Jose Cabella into the top corner of the net.
Junior forward Brandon Corday added an insurance goal for the
Diplomats in the 64th minute.
Haverford (1-6 overall, 0-2 Centennial) returns
to action on Wednesday when they will host Centennial opponent
Ursinus at 4:00 p.m.
